6 Affordable Ways To Organize Your Home

I’ve shared a little bit about how we’ve been spent time this winter turning our house into our home. We tackled large projects like upgrading our kitchen and replacing our stair runners. However, another thing I spent time on was organizing our home. There are few things that give me the level of excitement that Amazon and The Home Edit give me. I love organization, but I’ve always felt like I couldn’t organize my homes with the level of precision that I saw on Pinterest or TV because I couldn’t afford it.

Well, if you ever feel that way then you’ve come to the right page because I am here to show you how you can organize like you’re bougie and keep it in your budget. Below I’ll share six different ways I’ve organized closets and cabinets in my own home.

Organize The Kitchen

Spice Jars

Spice cabinets are daunting, but they don’t have to be. I decided to swap out my generic spice bottles with these uniform bottles and I’m so happy I did. These spice containers were a huge upgrade to my spice cabinet.

I ordered spice labels separately from Amazon, but you could order them off of Etsy or even make them yourself with a Cricut. Lastly, to keep things organized, I used these spice stands to organize them in the cabinet.

Bamboo Cannister

These bamboo canisters are my favorite. They’re chic and modern for every home decor style. We have a few that we got as a wedding present from Macy’s and then I ordered some additional ones from Amazon because I loved them so much. The Amazon ones were a little more affordable for the same quality. I love that they come in different shapes and sizes. We use them for everything from coffee to nuts to pasta noodles. I ordered additional cannisters in a smaller size (like these) as well.

Organize The Closets

Baskets

I’m not sure what your linen closet typically looks like, but before I invested in these nice natural baskets – mine was pure chaos. Our linen closet was the “anything that doesn’t have a home” closet. Getting these baskets were a huge upgrade and it forced me to make a home for everything. Amazon has a few different options and styles like these or these. I used different shapes and sizes to give depth and organization to my closet.

Glass Containers

I love being able to upgrade normal containers to something simple yet chic. These glass jugs are perfect for gallon-sized liquids like bleach. Like with the spice jars, you can order special labels that match your style to spruce it up.

I typically buy a gallon of liquid bleach and then tide pods for detergent. I love this glass cookie jar as a way to upgrade the tide storage. Cookie jars are great substitutes for containers. I actually use a cookie jar to hold my wooden cooking utensils in the kitchen as well.

Organize The Bathroom

Shower Bottles

Our guest bathroom has a variety of different bottles for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It’s hard to hide what the inside of our shower looks like because we have glass doors so I fell in love with these uniform shower bottles. They’re sleek, classy and they make my guest shower look a lot more fancy than it is. It is such a nice touch.

I also really love these black bottles if you’re going for a more modern look.

Shower Caddy

My master bathroom has a glass a shower door with a ledge that we grew accustom to leaving all of our shower products on. It looked cluttered and messy so I wanted find a shower caddy that looked nice and matched my style.

I am so happy with these shower shelves from Amazon. It was the perfect find. The adhesive was easy to put onto the wall and is very study. I love the way it looks in my bathroom as well.

Well, those are some of my favorite storage items on Amazon to help you organize your home. They’ve upgraded my closets and shelves tremendously. What are some of your favorite Amazon storage items? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
